The Four Devotions
We are soft in voice and unyielding in conviction.
For Humanity
Nothing we build is kept behind a wall. Every school, archive and laboratory opens to any human being willing to do the work.
For Nature
A river, a forest and a soil are members of the order too. We measure our work by what still lives a century after us.
For Us
A Pranjam is not an audience. Each one carries a share of the burden and a share of the authority that comes with it.

Takshashila taught before Athens had an academy. Nalanda held nine million manuscripts and students from Korea to Persia. Aryabhata gave the world its zero-bearing mathematics. We do not invoke these names for pride. We study them for method.

The Patrons
Institutions are not willed into being. They are funded into being.
Four standings carry the work forward: Contributor, Sustainer, Patron, and Founding Patron. Founding Patrons are named in the charter of the first institution they build — permanently, in stone.
